GUI problem after new install

I had FreeNAS 11 installed on a new build, but I couldn't assign more than one core to VM. Realized I didn't have the setting for virtualization on in my BIOS, so turned it on there, and did a full reinstall of FreeNAS to dual USB drives.

Now, when I try to log into FreeNAS, this is the GUI I'm seeing. What's up?

I just tried access from IE10 (have been using Chrome, and tried from two different machines) and that works. So I suppose its something in my Chrome browser? Not sure what would have caused this to happen all of a sudden though.

Edit: same GUI problem when I try Edge browser.

I could show you about the same screen when I access the GUI with IE or Edge. This is a many times discussed problem and I haven't seen a good or helpfull answer/explanation yet. Some people claim that a refresh in the browser works for them. For me and others not. I just gave it up as a bad job and use the browser that works for me (Chrome in my case ironicly) while waiting for the release of the new GUI.

The Chrome issue should be fixed in the next update (due out Oct 23).

I'm having this problem now too. I installed and set some things up. rebooted a couple of times, ran Memtest fine for about 8 passes, rebooted fine, then CPUStress for 24 hours. Now I ran short SMART tests on all 8 drives and tried conveyance tests and got errors. I rebooted and now I cannot get the GUI back to save my life.

I looked at my IPMI log and all I see are messages about my fans.

Any fix for this yet?

Edit: this happens in both IE and Chrome for me.

No, these didnt work. Tried IE and Chrome is private mode

An upgrade while formatting the boot environment also results in the same issues. This is disconcerting.

One of the browsers has to work. Or you have a strange firewall on your system. Can you try a different system to try and connect? Maybe your phone?

Had the same issue. Using the new gui worked fine, not a fan mind.

I'm seeing the same issue with latest 11 stable, and latest of Chrome. Firefox works fine. I did not try IE

Edge doesn't work at all
Chrome works sporadically
Internet Explorer works every time

What BBarker said. I thought it was some silly Windows Firewall thing since I am on a Win10 workstation but nope.

Edge will not work at all, Chrome needs to be refreshed 4-6 times before loading, and Chrome on my Android phone works every time on the 1st try. I have not tried Firefox or IE.

Hmm, Edge stopped working for me recently. Oh, well, this should be fixed in 11.1 anyway. No need for additional "me too" posts, unless they're on the 11.1 branch.

I was beginning to setup SABNZBD and was having some issues getting it to write to my media dataset.
