I noticed this on a previous update to 11.2 U7, but thought maybe it would be fixed with 11.3. I don't know exactly when it started happening, but when I try to export my encryption key for safe keeping, it downloads as a 0 bytes file. I thought maybe it was a problem with Google Chrome, so I tried Firefox and even tried it on a different machine, but it keeps coming up the same.
This happened both before and after the 11.3 upgrade and I've also even moved to different hardware with a fresh install of FreeNAS and restoration of the database. This occurred both before and after the hardware change, as well. Luckily, I had previously saved a copy of the key so I'm still able to unlock my pool, but it worries me that I can no longer export they key when it used to work just fine. I have to supply it every time I reboot the FreeNAS server to unlock my encrypted pool, so I'd like to be able to save a fresh copy, just in case.
Has anyone else run into this? What, if anything can be done to restore functionality?
Thanks, in advance.
