Zyz here. Long time unix user, mostly AIX, bit of Solaris and the inevitable linux. IT professional I work with the IBM Spectrum Protect Backup product for a day job. Not so savvy with FreeBSD.
Been using Freenas for a couple of years for home duties, currently 11.1U6 on a HP Microserver Gen 8.
I've had some issues over the years with plugins, so have given up on Plex and Owncloud/Nextcloud as plugins. Still running Plex as a VM on another linux box and using Freenas as an NFS repository for it.
Recenlly installed VEEAM Free on my windows laptop, backing up to Freenas by SMB. Now trying to get Freenas to cloud sync to Backblaze B2.
