FTP - Timeout Login

Hi (FreeNAS 9.1.1)

I have to increase the timeout of my Freenas.
TimeoutIdle, TimeoutLogin, TimeoutNoTransfer, TimeoutStalled -> 10000

But i can't...I'm root, i change the values but when i restart the service or the server, they resume their initial values...

Why i can't ?

Assuming you re running FreeNAS 9.1.1, why not upgrade to 9.3 ? Does your hardware support this kind of upgrade? Also, list your system specs.

Not sure based on what little information you provided, what the cause is. I think you are saying you have a timeout issue.

At first, i have install 9.3 on virtualbox but i have a problem with my NIC, I could not enter to WebGUI. So i migrate to 9.1.1.

Yes i have a timeout issue:

And i want add time, 10 000 seconds for example. So i modify proftpd.conf but when i restart the service, the change does not work. It is always to 300 seconds.

Because you shouldn't be modifying config files! FreeNAS does that stuff for you. Use the WebGUI how it is intended, or go to full-blown FreeBSD.

I have change the time out on WebGUI

But as you can see, just the TimeoutIdle has change.

I also want the others "Timeout"


It's impossible?
