Fresh install

Hey guys,

I know this must have been asked 10000 times already but I just want to make 100% sure.

So I am currently running 9.2.1.4 and I would like to do a fresh install once 9.2.1.6 final comes out.

To do a fresh install and keep my data, jails and shares.
Do I just need to backup my config file?
Then use the iso like I did for a first install, and install to the same USB stick.
Then once I'm back into FreeNAS I just load in my saved config file?
