Hi,

I am having a bit of a strange issue trying to log into the webgui using the FQDN, I and use the IP address with no problem in both HTTP and HTTPS.
Currently on version 9.10.2-U3.
When I use the FQDN I cannot log in see error - no real help.
But if i use the IP address not prob I can log in.
Can any one tell me what is going on and how to fix.
The FQDN DOES resolve to a IP address, this is not a DNS issue.

C:\>nslookup icednas01.icednetworks.net
Server: iceddc01.icednetworks.net
Address: 192.168.168.43

Name: icednas01.icednetworks.net
Address: 192.168.168.25

I have some questions. First, why are you using admin as the username? FreeNAS uses root. Second, what is the "INS" button on that screen?

Hi wblock,

Thanks - it had been a late night did not even notice it.
The "admin" is/was and oversight - lets just call it "PICNIC" [Problem In Chair Not In Computer] error.
The second one the "INS" - a customisation I made to FreeNAS, just changes some of the icons, logos and headers.
