When you say "backing up the data takes 20 hours" are you referring to taking a snapshot of the volume/dataset, or copying the data from one server to another? Any drive reading and writing large amounts of data to itself will take a long time unless it's an SSD. Copying data over the network is dependent upon network speed, the speed of the server itself and many other things.

Coping data from another server, but with old server (xp) takes only 2 hour. The lan is the same, not use SSD, i just replace system, with anoter better machine, but now it's very slow copying data.

It's probable that need much memory? I hear that zfs need memory, but these is the problem, for slow data transfer?

Yes, you need more memory. Read section 1.4.2 of the manual. 6-8Gb of RAM would be a good starting point. Although you said you "replaced the system with a better machine", in reality, you dropped the amount of RAM and increased the hard disk sizes. Both of these changes will have a detrimental effect on ZFS.

In addition to this, we need to know about your networking. Does the new machine have a gigabit connection? Do you have a GigE switch? What services/protocols are you using on your FN box to connect to your client?

You still haven't answered these questions.

Does the new machine have a gigabit connection? If so, what kind of NIC is it? Do you have a GigE switch? What services/protocols are you using on your FN box to connect to your client?

You might want to change out the network cable.
