Freenas Only Reboots

After several years of service and update my freenas server has developed a strange problem. When I use the console or the GUI to shutdown the server it immediately reboots. The only way I can get it to shutdown is to hold the power button after the system posts. I couldn't get any results from forum search. Please advise.

In the GUI, have it use a slightly older version and see if the issue persists. If not, then file a Bug report and see what the Devs have to say.

It started in 2015, but there are comments to the thread as of yesterday.

Thanks for the pointers guys. When I rolled back to a previous version it shutdown normally, but the other thread suggests that the common problem may also be related to server uptime. I will be looking into a bios and ipmi update to see if this might help.
