FreeNAS not seeing all RAM

I have the newest release of FreeNAS. For some reason it is only seeing 3306MB of RAM installed into my system when I actually have 16GB. My BIOS does show 16GB, 4 dimms of 4GB each. Has anyone else seen this happen? Help!

Yes.. we've seen that. It's called "install the 64 bit version dummy". ;)

I have been helping with that exact issue over IRC and it is 64Bit version.... Not sure if is the same person but I am stun about it.... Not sure what else to check...

I was trying to be funny because it's a simple error and plenty have made it. I even made it once. It's not meant to be offensive(hence the smiley at the end). But if you took offense you should leave now. These waters are shark infested and you'll be eaten alive if you start asking questions we've answered 100 times in here already.

To be honest, that's the first thing that came to my mind too. Next time you should maybe explicitly state that you are already running a 64 bit version.

I can't find your actual hardware spec. Which mainboard are you using?

If you haven't done it already it might be worth looking at running "Memtest" on your system to make sure your RAM is healthy and working as expected.
