FreeNas for my Video Library

My first Freenas is intended to contain my video library made up of .mkv files which must be read by my HTPC. For now on the HTTPC I use Kodi + MPC-BE + madVR and therefore the FreeNas would only act as an archive, but in the future I could also install a Plex server. Given that the Intel SSD 530, the Xeon e3 and two WD Red 10Tb. I already have them because they have been discontinued from other PCs. my list is:

Case: Fractal Define R5
Motherboard: Supermicro X11SSH-F
Processor: Intel Xeon e3-1220 v3
RAM: Kingston KSM24ED8 / 16ME 16Gb.
Power supply: Antec HCG 650W Gold
Boot Device: Intel® SSD 530 Series 180GB, M.2 80mm SATA 6Gb / s, 20nm, MLC
HDs: 4 x WD Red 10Tb

With the Intel® SSD 530 Series 180GB you could run a whole PC, the smallest one I found for another 4 datadrive-system was a 32gb drive. A running 4 drive system has 32gb ram (2 vdevs Mirror) uses 1,4 GiB for services, the rest ist free or zfs Cache. The processor is a Xeon e3-1240v3 and every thing is fine.

Is that ECC RAM? Unbuffered or Registered? and supported by the motherboard that you have chosen?
