FreeNAS 9.3 - issues on binding to a large OpenLDAP Directory

During a test to connect a FreeNAS 9.3 Installation with a large openLDAP directory of our university I noticed two issues:

1. The max string length of the field: "Directory Service --> LDAP -->Bind DN" is to short for long DN.
2. When using the LDAP auxiliary parameter: "ldap_deref = searching" for aliases in the LDAP-Directory the aliased LDAP users are visible on the shell via "getent passwd". However, they don't appear in the drop-down menus of the “Permissions” screen of a volume/dataset.
