I upgraded to 9.2.1 RC yesterday at it seems the Unix style permission set is different now?

On a given dataset i set owner (user) to:root and owner (group) to: "mygroup"
Then i check read, write and execute for both owner and group.

Before, this would mean both had full control, but now only the root has and the members of the group only has read permissions.

What? o_O

I think I'm hitting this issue as well. I'm using AFP shares, and it seems my Time Machine backups work fine because they have Owner:user1, Group:homeusers. My setting for Share1 is set with Owner:nobody (tried root also), Group:homeusers. Added the ticks for Group to have write/ex on files and write on directories.

Having the same issue at this point that I can't write to the shares.
