Freenas 8.0.4 Multimedia/UPS service

Hi everybody!

I'm n00b with Freenas, I'm french so excuse my langage, very basic, it's a little difficult for me...

My system:
FreeNAS-8.0.4-RELEASE_MULTIMEDIA-p2-x86 (11405)
AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3600+
3058MB
OS Version FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE-p7


My UPS system is an Eaton ups 5 Ellipse ASR USBS, 1000VA, on USB cable.
The port is /dev/ugen2.2 (I saw it on the screen when I plugged it).
There's no auxiliary parameters, no description.

Shutdown mode: ups goes on battery
Shutdown timer: 60 (...seconds, I guess)

UPS Master User Password: fixmepass (What does it mean?)

Extra users (upsd.users): empty
Remote Monitor: on
Send Email Status Updates: on
To email: ***.***@gmail.com
Email Subject: UPS report generated by %h



Problems:

Sometimes I've the following message on the console:
"Unknow USB device: blablabla" (I guess it's not a real problem)

But when I unplug my UPS system, it works on battery (message on the console) but the system don't shutdown, never.
I never received an email for this problem, despite the email adress is OK and I received security and daily logs.

What's wrong with my system?

UPS damon "NUT" in FreeNAS 8.0.4X is broke. Many people have reverted back to 8.0.3 because of this. UPS service is run by "NUT" which allows not only local monitoring, but monitoring over TCPIP to the machine physically connected to the UPS running "NUT", this is why there is a section for user/password.

So there's no way to fix it? I must go back to 8.0.3?
