What had been planned to be called FreeNAS 9.10.3 will now be named FreeNAS 11.0. It is built upon FreeBSD 11. The release candidate is scheduled for release next week.

@gpsguy thanks for your Feedback, so FreeNAS 11 will also work with Docker, or will this upgrade kill my Datas?

You can't "upgrade" to it, it's more like a downgrade to the 9.10.x. Look for a FAQ written by @Ericloewe explaining how to migrate from Corral to 9.10.x. The FAQ would apply to 11 too.

I'm sorry but this might sound a bit harsh, but I would seriously like to know why is there STILL not an announcement on the main FreeNAS site or blog? Its one thing to stop development on Corral, but this should be posted in at least a couple places for people to see. Even a simple announcement in the blog or on the downloads page that points to the post in the announcements section would help.

So I agree with raidflex
It took me a day of reinstalling after a borked gui updgrade on 9.10 release. I bit the bullet and went for Coral as it was a month since release. I hit issues with plugins not loading, so it never booted.
I had to go back to a fresh install, and after i EVENTUALLY found some links to the fact Coral was pulled I felt like I had wasted my time.
To top this off, Linux Format featured it as a new release in May edition, and then a full review of Coral in the June edition.. when its been pulled and un supported? No mention of that in the review that I seen.

Please, make some sort of blog or announcement, make it clear on the download page why your getting a 9.10 release and not Coral. Seem as I was emailed about the amazing Coral, it would have been helpful to have been told it was getting dumped... with the same level of publicity.

For what its worth, I've put together that 9.10 -> 11 is the way to go. Coral has been left as a stand alone, not supported thing, and the features it had will go to 11 over time. It shouldn't have been so difficult to find out though.
