Where can you download FreeNAS 11.3 U5? There are no links to the last version of FreeNAS. I am stranded at 8GB of RAM for my old system and FreeNAS is as far as I can go until I update hardware.

Isn’t FreeNAS deprecated? Shouldn’t everyone be moving to TrueNAS CORE

I am running a very old D975XBX2 mobo with a Xeon (in Pentium pinout) and the arrangement has a maximum RAM of 8GB. TrueNAS requires 16GB so I'm stranded at FreeNAS for now.

Thanks for the link. ;-P

You can try 12.0-U5 and roll back to 11.3-U5 if needed. I don't think you'll find any significant differences between them at 8GB. Both will perform less than optiimally but should be OK.

Does anyone have any experiences which contradict this statement?
