This morning I updated to FreeNAS 11.1U4 and everything was looking good until my system started booting my jails. The instant the jail bridged to my Intel x520 dual 10gb NIC link light dropped and I lost all my network on that interface. I was previously running with FreeNAS-9.10.2-U3 (exact hw same config) or almost a year and never had any issues. I searched around a bit and found a bug which describes my issue exactly. I ran most of the steps in the bug and I got the same results. I reverted back to 9.10.2-U3 and I'm back to working.

The issue was closed to 3rd party to resolve. Not much other information added. It seems like the originating author just swapped NICs to Chelsio and the issue dropped off.
I'd be willing to help troubleshoot and try to figure it out, even if the issue is outside of FreeNAS control. Anyone know if an external issue was written? I'm wondering if I can pickup where the originating author left off. I'd like to debug for a bit before I swap out the hardware.
Thanks!
