Finally added a UPS / Can someone double check my settings?

I've settled on the below settings after doing some reading and checking Network UPS Tools for the driver. Do they look correct? Any thoughts/concerns?

Expected results to be after 5 minutes without power, Truenas will shut down and the server will completely turnoff. Do I have the correct Shutdown Command /sbin/shutdown -p now?

I'm using a USB to connect the UPS to my sever and confirmed the port using dmesg | grep ugen.

I'm running an APC 2200 Smart UPS, model number SUA2200RM2U.

Interestingly, I never filled in that field, and it shuts down fine when I simulate a power outage. I wonder if that field is for a custom shutdown command?

You have "Power Off UPS" checked, which means the UPS will shut itself off, as well. Is this necessary for you? If you have other devices connected to the same UPS unit, they will suddenly lose power if you do not safely shut them down before it receives the shutoff signal. What if power is restored after 5 minutes? Those devices will have nothing to "hold on" to squeeze past a brief ~5 minute outage. (Though usually if an outage lasts more than a few minutes, it's not likely going to restore any time soon.)

Other than that, everything looks okay to me. Are you able to test this out by cutting power (or unplugging the UPS from the wall) to see if everything works as planned?

My understanding is the bare metal server will remain active, after Truenas shuts down. That command shuts down the server completely. Now thinking I may not need it. As long as TN shuts down, I'm good.

Ah, yes, I do have other devices such as a firewall and a switch. Thinking I'll uncheck that so those other devices remain on.

Let us know how it works out! Keep in mind there is an additional 20 seconds on top of the 300-second timer you specified. So don't think you configured anything incorrectly if 5 minutes pass, and TrueNAS still hasn't shutdown. I would wait 6 minutes from when you "pull the plug" before determining whether or not you need to re-try or re-configure.
