I have a brand new installation of FreeNAS 9.10 on a 32GB USb Drive. First thing I am doing after the installation is running the updates, however I keep getting this error message:

Error: Unable to create snapshot freenas-boot/ROOT/default@Pre-Uprgade-d1851bb004ead848f18f828f8fd48bae

Running an HP N54L with 8GB RAM.

What train are you on? There shouldn't be any updates yet, unless you're tracking nightlies (not recommended for production).

Sounds like a false notification as the next SU is not due until late tomorrow Pacific time.

These are the two updates it is saying are pending. But I will wait until tomorrow like you suggested.

Upgrade: freenas-pkg-tools-9.10-RELEASE-d1851bb004ead848f18f828f8fd48bae -> freenas-pkg-tools-9.10-RELEASE-b2887ae2e5e75209b3f4f505e620157c

i had this issue also. ISO updated on another install and that worked fine
The install which had this problem updated fine when the latest updates rolled out a day or so ago, so try again
