Hi,

I'm currently encountering an error on my datasets that does not permit me to make any modifications to it. I cannot read, write, or create datasets.

I have tried "mkdir ____" or "touch test" in ssh terminal. Both give me the error "Read-only file system".

I would greatly appreciate your support.

Thank you in advance,
Michael L.

What FreeNAS version are you using?

Can you provide more details about your dataset setup. Is this data you are trying to access serve as the "pull" part of a replication task?

Thanks for your reply,

I'm using version 9.10 U2 I recently moved back from corral but I created new volumes and as a result. I had to restore my data from a backup using replication task.

So yeah, this data was made from a replication task off my backup. Is this the right way to do it?

Thanks in advance,
Michael L.

Sorry for the late reply, I just checked, and as suspected, the datasets I could not r/w to were marked as read only.

I thought you fixed it since your comment clearly showed you knew what the problem was. You can just under the read only properly.
