I changed the settings yesterday.
Make `pkg update` `pkg upgrde` `pkg autoremove` work normally.
Then I rebooted the system.
I found that the Web UI could not enter.
nas ping google.com is all right.
But `pkg update` is limited.

I know that maybe I deleted some system components, causing the web configuration service to fail to start.
Is there any other way to fix it besides reinstalling freenas?

You cannot pkg upgrade FreeNAS ... what exactly did you do?

/usr/local/bin/freenas-debug -B > myconfig.db
Additionally there is /var/db/system/configs-<someid> ...

I'm not 100% sure if this covers everything but you'll want at least /data/freenas-v1.db and /data/geli if you have encrypted pools.

Where precisely have you selected "upgrade system"? In the UI? That is not the equivalent of pkg upgrade. It is still quite mysterious what it was that you did to your system ...

You can hack it to make pkg work, and by work, I mean break your system

But why would you even consider doing that?
