I am guessing this might be a stupid question, so I chose the n00b forum. Can I easily configure the system to email only on errors? 3ware alerts, SMART failure, zpool status, etc? I have 3 production systems, and I have to daily check the status reports to make sure all is ok. I am sure I could set a filter for incoming mail to look for keywords, and if they don't exist send them to another folder, leaving only "bad" emails sitting in main inbox but that's not exactly elegant.

Not yet, the daily status emails do need to be rethought as they're contributing to data overload - I bet most people will eventually come to ignore them, so that when a problem does occur it will be missed.
