Hello, I just recently built my own system and I’m running truenas on it. I’m wanting to use it as my massive storage area, but I’m also wanting to edit video directly off of it.
Like open up the file explorer, click on my nas folder, find my video footage and drag and drop it directly into davinci resolve, but when I try it just shows a red circle with a line through it like it can’t be accessed.
Is there something I’m missing? Do I have to set up specific permissions from the nas dashboard to allow the files to be used by another program such as davinci resolve or premiere pro?
