Hello, ok so ECC is important for ZFS and freenas but my PC can't use ECC but regular RAM but also I'm not planning to write whole lot of data. I'll use server mostly for reading data from server so my question? Can error be made when data is read and if you don't have ECC you have potential dead pool.

You've done enough research to figure out that the community strongly suggests using ECC memory. Well done.

Nobody but yourself can make the judgement on whether to proceed or abandon the project.
You've found the recommended procedures. They are there for very good reason.
It is up to you.
