Easy question from a N00b

1x1 mirror... if one drive fails, there is no data lose. Basically you have two identical drives... is this correct?

Yes, I'm reading up on Snapshots now. Sure would be nice to automatically dump a snapshot to my 50GB Box.com account. Doable or am I dreaming?

I don't know anything about box.com, but I'm fairly certain there's some way to do what you want and also fairly certain you're not the first one that has thought about doing it. :)

A quick peek at their FAQ shows that you can upload stuff with FTP. If I recall correctly, Rsync can move files over FTP, so I'd study up on Rsync and spend some time getting familiar with the FreeNAS manual.
