Does TrueNAS ever use Field Accessible Reliability Metrics?

Recently got a message from a "bored" Seagate engineer about a post I made on reddit. He mentioned something about FARM logs, or Field Accessible Reliability Metrics logs. Apparently it's Seagate unique, but open, and has the potential to provide better drive monitoring data than SMART. The post the engineer sent me (provided in the aforementioned link) references Seagate trying to add support to smartctl and smartmontools. Because of this, could we see support in TrueNAS Core or TrueNAS Scale at some point in the future? I'll be honest, the details of this stuff is above my pay grade, so I was just curious if any of the TrueNAS developers had heard of this.

If the support is added to smartmontools/smartctl, I expect it will arrive in TrueNAS.

Without that, it would seem unlikely.
