SOLVED Does the TN CORE kernel contain COMPAT_FREEBSD* options?

Hi all,

does anyone know if these options are compiled in?

Code:

options         COMPAT_FREEBSD6
options         COMPAT_FREEBSD7
options         COMPAT_FREEBSD9
options         COMPAT_FREEBSD10
options         COMPAT_FREEBSD11

We want to try to run some legacy binaries for FreeBSD 6 in a jail on TrueNAS.

Funny feeling to see FreeBSD 4 in that list - might still have the official cdrom set somewhere

Works only partly, unfortunately, due to this bug:

218571 – umtx compat6 regression affecting 'jar' command

bugs.freebsd.org

It does work in a bhyve VM running FreeBSD 10.4. So our problem is solved for now.
