I am about to finish the setup of FreeNAS, but I was wondering if it has a trash bin, like USB drives or my computer.
If this is the case, how can I clear it and disable it?

Note: I am using RaidZ ZFS with SMB and AFP shares.

It's not very clear what do you mean. Try to explain a little more.

No, it doesn't. Once you delete something, it's gone forever. (Unless you enable periodic snapshots on specific dataset/s. Or if you set your Windows or Mac pc to retain in the local trash bin a copy of the files deleted on the shares - don't know if it is possible :))

Think is SMB can be configured with a recycling bin.
