DNS timeouts to the forum

Been noticing some DNS timeouts when trying to reach the forum. It appears the iX Systems DNS servers (ns1 & ns2.ixsystems.com) are struggling and with a 300 second TTL it isn't helping, requiring my local cache to refresh every 5 minutes. Can the TTL be increased to 30 minutes, or perhaps a few hours?

Did a little poking, it appears ns2.ixsystems.com is not responding to requests, that would explain the issue.
