Hello all,

I have a server running TrueNas scale and 2 network connections. An ethernet connected to the internet and a 10g fiber line directly to my PC. I cannot seem to figure out on my own from reading where I am going wrong.

The network router is 192.168.0.1

That's a link local address and perfectly fine. What exactly is your problem?

if the router is 192.168.0.1 then the IP address on the NAS needs to be 192.168.0.x (other than 1, not 0 or 255) with probably /24. You seem to have 10.0.0.2/8

I guess I just don’t know how to use this address correctly to connect to my NAS from my PC. I’m trying to target the drive. All of the instructions use an ip 4 address
