Difference between Dataset Share types

Hi, just a quick question: when setting up a new dataset, it is possible to choose between "UNIX", "Windows" and "Apple" for the share type. What effect does this selection have? After all, I can define the actual share(s) on the dataset later on.

I.e.: if I choose "Windows" and then generate an AFP share for it, what is different than if I choose "Apple" and then generate an AFP share?

Permissions, basically. You should match the permissions type to the share type. Windows for CIFS, UNIX for NFS.
