Dell R720 with Perc H510 or 710 controller

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been answered - all I really found were more questions from a while back. I am wondering if the Dell R720 server with the PercH510 or 710 controller now work with Freenas? I need to purchase an out of the box solution from Dell or HP to get this running. I would think the R710 would work fine but want some feedback on it.

I have one R710 running FreeNAS. Unfortunately the Perc H700 doesnt allow the disks to be passed through and require either:
each disk in its own RAID0
or
configure a RAID array on the card and then let FreeNAS just use the one disk

I am not sure about the newer controllers (710, etc), but I imagine it will be a similar circumstance. Hopefully someone that has tested it can confirm or deny.
