Dell 2950 and Perc 5 RAID controller

I want to use DELL 2950 and build NAS with FreeNAS firmware. I do not know what I should do with Perc 5 RAID controller. Can I disable it? I have read that people configure RAID-0 for each disk and later set RAID on FreeNAS. It is possible to move disk to another hardware with FreeNAS when I use RAID-0 on Perc 5 RAID controller?

Disable it, physically remove it, or whatever. It does you no good and using it in FreeNAS is going to break ZFS things.

Someone know if I can disable RAID controller in DELL 2950 in BIOS? I found bad information on DELL forum:

The Perc5i controller only does Raid. It does not have a non-Raid mode. You can simply setup each drive as a Raid 0 and this will do the same thing as two stand-alone drives.
