You‘ve not got catia or fruit attributes included in your shares unlike Apple’s knowledge base article.

Perhaps start with just catia fruit streams_xattr with your settings on a test share and see how you go.

Thank you for looking into this. I have set those but no change unfortunately. What I did notice today after not having looked at the issue for a while is that somehow TN has now set a few AUX parameters automatically by itself without me having changed anything. Some now show this:

fruit:locking=netatalk
fruit:metadata=netatalk
fruit:resource=file
streams_xattr:prefix=user.
streams_xattr:store_stream_type=no
oplocks=no
level2 oplocks=no
strict locking=auto
vfs objects=fruit catia ixnas media_harmony streams_xattr zfs_space zfsacl

But others only have the vfs objects in there. Very weird. I wonder why these are now showing on some but not all datasets. I haven't changed these myself.

I wish TN would publish an info page what's best practise on setting up SMB shares for Mac-centric environments. There's a ton of conflicting info floating around on the net.
