Deleted files eventually come back?

Hey all,

I have a CIF set up called "Data" and in there is a folder called "Pictures". About a month or so ago I went through and deleted a bunch of junk pictures basically did some house cleaning. I was looking through this folder again today and noticed that the pictures files I delete have returned. I don't notice any other changes, folder I created are still there.

Has anyone else had experience with this? I did a little searching and saw to check how much space was left in the Pool but I'm only using 2.3TiB out of 9.3TiB.

It's almost certainly something on the client side. Files don't spontaneously undelete themselves.

Any ideas? I'm the only person who uses the nas server.

I believe @Ericloewe gave you the only idea there is to give: FreeNAS not only won't do this, it can't. Either you did it, or something on your client side (i.e., not FreeNAS) did it. Since it was either you, or a non-FreeNAS element of your network, I'm not sure how we would even speculate.
