So after logging into my TrueNAS box today, I discovered this my result of smartctl -a on ada2:
...I would assume that ada2 is pooched. The odd thing is that the pool isn't listed as degraded...any idea why?
Just to make sure I have everything right, am I right in saying this is the procedure:
1. Offline the drive in FreeNAS, then shut down
2. Restart the machine, online the drive
3. Select 'replace drive' in the GUI, select it and wait for the re-silver
Am I missing anything? Thanks for the help!
