DAT or LTO Device Support

Hi

I have configurated a FreeNAS device to save the backups of servers.

Can i attach a LTO/DAT device to backup the archives stored on FreeNAS?


For example:

A server named X, save its backup in FreeNAS Storage, and later, the FreeNAS system do a LTO backup of the archives stored on itself.

I would like to bump this. I need to be able to archive content of my FreeNAS box to LTO6 tape's. Does anyone have an idea to that?

Hallo Dennis,

i have attached sas lto4 drive to my freenas box. i backup my archives with tar (from shell).
i look for more convenient method as well.
