Creating VM's - do you have to specify disk sector size?

Just starting to play around with VMs in 11.1 and I am unsure if this is optional or required, and if it is required what should be in there.

Should it be, say 1024:512 ?

Any advice welcome!

No, however from trial and error I have found that you do not have to specify a sector size. Just accept the default and keep going.
