Creating RAID1 mirror with data on existing drive

I haven't got FreeNAS yet, but this is a decider. If I have set up FreeNAS and have just a single drive with all my data, can I easily add a second drive of equal size later and set it up to mirror what I currently have without having to format the original drive?
