This morning I found that my system had a critical read error on one of my 5 drives in a raidz2 volume. The storage volume manager said that the pool was degraded and one of the drives was marked offline. The critical error said that one of the drives had reported too many errors on reading.

I investigated and unplugged and re-plugged all my drives and when I rebooted, the storage manager said the pool was healthy and all my drives were now online. Problem solved!! I thought.

However when I boot the system, I still get the critical warning light on top right corner and it says "CRITICAL: May 12, 2018, 8:17 a.m. - The volume Riverdale state is ONLINE: One or more devices has experienced an unrecoverable error. An attempt was made to correct the error. Applications are unaffected."

Any suggestions on how I can track down what error is being detected?

Thanks

One more reboot seems to have done the trick. I'll watch things. Don't feel comfortable about this but with no symptoms hard to diagnose. Cheers!!
