Copy freenas system from hdd to usb stick

Hi Guys,
I've installed my freenas system on a HDD. Now I cacth the suggested solution, so I would like to install my actual freenas system on USB stick. Is it possible? If I have to install a new freenas system on a USB stick the import of the previous configuration file, will affects also the plugin? (i.e. I will find, after import, my plex plugin with the same actual movie library?)
