Copy directly between servers?

Hey guys,

I have two TrueNAS/FreeNAS servers and I want to copy the data off one, and move it onto the other. How would I go about doing that without using a client computer in between? The datasets are both shared out via SMB.

Connect them via network (either with a switch or just a cable), make sure they can "ping" each other, then configure a replication task in the UI. Fastest way by far.

Yup, works great. I found the pull to work better than the push option for some reason but that’s how I backed up my FreeNAS pool data before upgrading to TrueNAS and rebuilding the pool from the ground up.
