Controller SAS, non raid, support 3tb.

Hi,

I am looking for a / SATA Controller with SAS connector SFF-8087 Mini SAS X 4 see 16 Port Sata standard ... but that's a lot.
It is easy to find but I search a controller specifically : no raid, which supports hot swap ?? HDD 3TB.
I searched the dimension of LSI but I found nothing ... I do not know if it melts something...

Or proposal, I saw the M1015 but not yet support 3tb +

Yes... I'm running 6 of them right now...

We list the M1015 on the recommended hardware sticky in the same forum section you posted in. We wouldn't be recommending ANY controller that is limited to 2TB(or less). That's just stupid as the whole point of the server IS to have big disks.

It only has 2 SFF-8087 so you'll need 2 M1015s or a SAS expander to have enough ports.

Yes, you will want to reflash the card to IT mode.
