Hi All,

I Have ACER AC100 with intel C206 onboard storage controller. Spec sheet mentions maximum of 2TB storage, is this software or hardware limitation of the system?
I would like to replace all of my 2TB HDD's with 4TB HDD's.

Thanks
Dejan B.

Not really sure but I would guess it works. There was probably only 2TB drives around for testing when that thing was made. There only limiting factor I can think of is if the backplane they are using is sas1. How do the drives connect to the motherboard?

That chipset supports SATA3. I doubt it'll be a problem.

If it is you can get a separate HBA.

This is the backplane it uses.
