COM-Ports reset

Hello im new here.

I have a Question about COM-Ports.
When i create a new Docker VM then the Com Port is counted up. (i++)
Now im on the "/dev/nmdm16B"
but i use only one VM. ( I delete a lot of VMs)

Now the question. Can i reset the counter back to "/dev/nmdm1B" ?
