Does Freenas 8 CIFS (samba) support Win 7 for 128bit encryption? I ask because I am struggling to get my Windows 7 client to see any shares from Freenas and I have read on line of a number of recommendations to disable 128 bit encrypton from the win 7 control panel.
So my question is does Freenas 8 and Samba support 128 bit encyrption NTLMv2 or will I be forced to disable the forced 128 bit encryption?
Also, if I d have to disable 128 bit encryption, will that affect the encryption when connecting to my AD domain?
