This morning I noticed a strange thing. Copying large fails from Win > FreeNAS is ok, but copying FreeNAS > Win fails after some 30% transfer.

After that I stopped all CIFS service, removed all its tweaks, restarted CIFS service, tried to map the CIFS shares from my Win computer with no success:

Code:
Jun 12 07:00:13 freenas freenas: Starting nmbd.
Jun 12 07:00:13 freenas freenas[1993]: Executing: /bin/pgrep -F /var/run/samba/smbd.pid smbd
Jun 12 07:00:24 freenas mountd[1206]: mount request denied from 192.168.11.2 for /media
Jun 12 07:00:24 freenas mountd[1206]: mount request denied from 192.168.11.2 for /media

Telnetting Freenas tells me that the files and folders are still there, but something is obviously wrong with CIFS.

Rights for share MEDIA are as follows
Owner: NOBODY
Group: HOMEBOYS
Rights: all crossed
Type of ACL: Unix
Set permissions recursively: NO

Can anybody tell me where to start troubleshooting this issue?

Upgrade to FreeNAS-8.3.1-RELEASE-p2 first, and try again.
