So I have been getting a few checksum errors on a drive, about 4 - 20 that pop up every few days after clearing them and scrubbing. I decided to replace the drive with a new drive and that drive is also doing the same thing, I replaced the cable just the other night and still have the same checksum errors popping up. I ran a long SMART test on the drive and it passed....
I am not familiar with most of this data and cannot see anything really that stands out to me. I currently have 8 ports on my mobo filled so my only option is swapping around the ports and see if a different drive starts to do it on that port. Can you change drives around like that in a raid like this? Of course the NAS would be off...
Any help would be great! And I think I have a PCI sata controller somewhere around... its slower than my onboard but I think I could use it to test with.
