Hi,
I have been unsuccessful in changing the timeout variable in /etc/local/proftpd.conf . Every time the ftp service is reset on freenas the variables are set back to default time outs (I tried changing the variables manually). I'm a nooby with linux. Hoping someone can help me change the timeout variables permanently so they aren't over written or changed every time the ftp service is started. I am transfering larger files across my home network (5- 15Gb) and my account gets booted off in the middle of an FTP session.
I would really appreciate help on this matter :).
