Hi,

In an attempt to figure out why I get lockd timeout errors from the clients, I've changed 'number of servers' in NFS settings from default 4 to 32 (I have 32 cores in the systems). However, after changing the value and trying to apply the change, the WebGUI seems to get stuck: it stays there forever. So I canceled it and go back to the same setting page. After a couple of tries, it now shows 32. However,

* how do I verify it's really using 32 'servers'? On command line, it shows:
# ps -ax | grep nfs
2970 ?? Is 0:00.18 nfsd: master (nfsd)
2971 ?? S 232:47.10 nfsd: server (nfsd)
77793 0 S+ 0:00.00 grep nfs
* do I need to restart nfsd service after the change? Since WebUI got stuck every time, I suspect the change was not really made (I wonder restarting the nfsd is why it got stuck...)
* is there an easier way to make such change? I prefer non-GUI environment because my box always has some problem with changing on GUI with regard to NFS. As I understand it, changing in /etc/rc.conf won't help because FreeNAS's DB overrides it.
Thanks,
