TrueNAS-13.0-U2
This is a small personal server with backups, and I am ok with data loss and downtime. Using enclosures like this is NOT what I would do for anything important.
I purchased two Sabrent EC-UASP enclosures holding used 1TB WD Red SSDs. TrueNAS interface will only detect one at a time while I am able to see both in the terminal. From the terminal they show up at da0 and da1, in the web UI I can only see one at a time depending on which one was detected first.
I think this is because TrueNAS sees the Sabrent enclosure and reports it's serial number which happens to be the same on both enclosures. Is there a way to work around this or should I just get different model enclosures?
Here is what I see in /dev vs the interface
root@truenas[~]# ls -al /dev/da*
crw-r----- 1 root operator 0x5e Sep 15 17:57 /dev/da0
crw-r----- 1 root operator 0x60 Sep 15 17:58 /dev/da1
